About the event
Whether you’re teaching VCE Media for the first time, returning to the subject after some time away, or simply looking to refresh your understanding of the current Study Design, this practical professional learning session will help you approach Units 1–4 with confidence. Led by experienced VCE Media educators, the session will unpack the VCE Media Study Design, exploring the key knowledge and skills, Areas of Study, assessment requirements and expectations across Units 1, 2, 3 and 4.
We’ll move beyond simply reading the Study Design to look at what it means in practice: how to structure a course, plan engaging learning sequences, approach assessment, support students through production work and make manageable decisions about what to prioritise throughout the year.
There will also be opportunities to hear how experienced teachers approach the subject, ask questions and connect with other new and returning Media educators.
